On a Mission to Help Modern Parents, Especially Fathers, Leverage Parenthood as a Forcing Function for Healing, Growth and Transformation
As a father struggling with PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder) for almost 15 years, I didn’t realize the real impact of my old baggage of unresolved thoughts and emotions until our daughter entered my world.
Not prioritizing my mental health and wellness caused me to pay a hefty price. My untreated PTSD condition kept getting worse with every parenthood challenge that triggered something deep inside of me which caused me to experience severe depression and anxiety as well as OCD and ADHD symptoms.
It all started at the age of 19 when I left my home country, family, friends and everything I’d owned and loved to take control of my destiny. I travelled the world from east to west, country by country and after two months I finally arrived in Canada as a refugee with $50 in my pocket and a few words of English in my head.
Now after having gone on a powerful healing journey, I’ve developed a sense of calling and mission to help other parents. That’s why I now co-run The Fulfilled Parent with my wife where we help modern parents by offering curated resources, transformational education, experiences and a community to help them live more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
